sanam.me is a personal site run by Sanam Pakuwal. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. This page lists everything that does touch your data, so you can check it.

Hosting and request logs

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare handles every request to serve and protect the site, which means it sees your IP address, browser user agent and the URL you asked for. Request logs are kept in Cloudflare for up to 3 days so errors can be debugged, then deleted. Cloudflare’s bot protection may set a short-lived security cookie such as __cf_bm. That cookie is Cloudflare’s, and it is not used to profile you. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Stored on your device

The light or dark theme you pick is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key theme. It never leaves your device.

Third parties your browser contacts

  • GitHub contribution chart. The footer image is loaded from ghchart.rshah.org, so that service sees your IP address and user agent when the image loads.
  • Blog comments. Blog posts load giscus when you scroll near the comments. Reading them sends a request to giscus.app. Posting a comment needs a GitHub sign-in, and the comment is stored publicly as a GitHub Discussion in sanamhub/sanam-me-comments. The giscus privacy policy and the GitHub privacy statement apply.
  • External links. Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Telegram and certificate issuers open those sites under their own policies.

Email

If you email me, I keep the message in my mailbox so I can reply. I do not share it or add you to any list.

Agents and the MCP server

Markdown responses, llms.txt and the MCP server at /mcp are read-only and log the same request data as any page. Nothing sent to the MCP server is stored.

Removal requests

To have a comment, email or anything else about you removed, email sanampakuwal27@gmail.com. I will reply within 30 days. The date at the bottom of this page changes whenever the policy does.
